About the role
We are looking for a Scrum Master, Team Coach to be a part of a fast-paced culture and community in a startup-like environment inside one of the most successful organizations in Québec. You will be part of the transformation team, which consists of Scrum Masters - Team Coaches and Agile coaches at the service of the organization. The transformation team was created a little less than two years ago. That means that you will build the foundation of a team and foster the agile community within Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) and the organization.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Coach 2 teams in the ways of agility and the framework that best serves teams (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
Help the teams focus on creating high-value increments
Assist in identifying and addressing impediments and blockers
Support the Product Owners with effective Backlog management techniques
Design and facilitate workshops at the service of the participants and their objectives
Have a systemic impact by being part of and contributing to the Data and Analytics (DNA) Transformation team by
Defining and implementing the culture and practices of our DNA family
Defining how multiple teams will collaborate on a daily basis by bringing coherence in the ways of working and delivering business value
Preparing workshops and training sessions
Instilling a continuous improvement mindset to DNA, by using metrics to bring to light areas of improvement and measuring progress
Supporting the Leadership team by advising, teaching and coaching them
Defining, putting in place and following KPIs that will increase delivered business value while shortening delivery time
Apply the values and principles of agility without being dogmatic about it
This job requires you to work on-site 50% of the time from our downtown Montréal and/or Brossard offices
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role
You have knowledge of traditional project management, because you and your team will interact with projects
You love working with people
You embody the values and principles of the Manifesto
You can adapt your style to the context and maturity of the team(s) you are working with
You have experience creating and leveraging metrics to help teams make better decisions
You have experience creating and facilitating workshops to structure the ideation and thought process of participants and make the workshop a success
You have contributed to put in place an Agile system at scale that supports multiple teams at the same
You have put in place Communities of Practice (CoP), Centers of Expertise (CoE) or other self-organized forums
STAND OUT WITH...
Scrum Master certification and Agile related certifications
Experience facilitating with on-site, remote and hybrid teams
Experience working with Data and Analytics centric teams
Experience with Jira, Mural
