WeAre WSP
What you can expect to do here:
- Partner with agencies and operators to define operational needs, transition strategies, and technology choices for modern fleets.
- Lead feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to ensure resilient, maintainable system deployments.
- Design and integrate vehicle, charging, and digital infrastructure for seamless, end-to-end connectivity.
- Produce and review functional requirements, technical specifications, and integration plans for operational systems.
- Support procurement through technical evaluations, compliance checklists, and vendor selection.
- Oversee system commissioning, testing, and handover, ensuring compliance and successful integration. Stay ahead of industry trends by embracing V2G, microgrids, and AI-powered fleet optimization.
What you’ll bring to WSP:

Bachelor's or master's degree in: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Systems Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in the system engineering environment, in transportation, transit systems, fleet electrification, vehicle systems integration or related field.
-
Strong background in drafting and validating system specifications and integration requirements for complex operational systems.
-
Experience with EV charging infrastructure, energy management systems, and vehicle telematics is considered an asset.
-
Experience with SCADA systems, power distribution, data analytics, and cybersecurity requirements is considered an asset.
-
Knowledge of procurement and commissioning to support project transitions.
