Parking Attendant (Part-time / Permanent)

We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our team as a Parking Attendant, located in downtown Halifax.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 5:30 AM to 8:30 AM weekdays. Additional hours may occasionally be required as operations dictate.
If you enjoy interacting with the public, and aren't afraid to work outdoors, than this could be the right position for you.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
During your day, you will be responsible for greeting guests, validating their parking, and maintaining basic cleanliness of your assigned location.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Greeting guests
- Validating parking
- Directing vehicles within the assigned parking location
- Provide assistance to customers in use of payment kiosks and/or Indigo NEO app
- Changing garbage's, picking up litter
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
