YOUR IMPACT
As a Sr. Solution Consultant within OpenText’s Cybersecurity Solutions team, you will be at the forefront of enabling customers and partners to build resilience against cyber threats. You will secure technical wins, evangelize OpenText solutions, and guide organizations in protecting sensitive data while ensuring compliance and continuity through unforeseen cyber events. Leveraging your expertise, you will drive technical sales presentations, lead solution demonstrations, and act as the trusted advisor to both technical and executive stakeholders.
What The Role Offers
- The opportunity to become a subject matter expert in OpenText’s Data Security and Data Protection product sets, with training and mentorship provided.
- A highly collaborative role where you will work closely with Account Executives, Solutions Consultants, partners, and customers to drive revenue growth and customer success.
- Ownership of technical solutioning, including conducting deep-dive assessments, leading demonstrations, and designing tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- The chance to shape customer strategies around Microsoft 365, Azure AD, encryption, data loss prevention, and cloud-based data security practices.
- A dynamic, global environment with opportunities to influence product direction, contribute to cross-sell opportunities, and conduct customer business reviews.
What You Need To Succeed

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (advanced coursework preferred) and 12+ years of relevant experience. CISSP certification is desired.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong understanding of the IT data and cyber threat landscape.
-
Proficiency in network technologies, protocols, administration, virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM), and SaaS services (O365, Salesforce, Dynamics).
-
Expertise in data security and protection solutions, encryption, DLP, threat intelligence, and response.
-
Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, DKIM/DMARC.

Leadership & Problem-Solving:

Ability to act independently, make critical decisions, and design innovative technical solutions.

Strong consultative approach with proven experience influencing both technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives.
