ABOUT THE ROLE

The B2C Business Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce-based solutions to support business objectives. This role collaborates with product managers, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver enhancements and new features that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

This is a one-year contract position covering a maternity leave.

Your ‘day to day’:

  • Digital Process & Technical Expertise

    • Advise business stakeholders on leveraging Salesforce and digital technologies to solve problems and identify opportunities.
    • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and design sessions to gather requirements and promote solution ideation.
    • Continuously monitor and improve existing Salesforce processes by researching new approaches and technologies.
  • Requirements Gathering & User Stories

    • Collaborate with business users to elicit, define, and document requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce enhancements.
    • Lead requirements sessions and translate business needs into actionable user stories and system designs.
    • Work closely with technical teams and vendors to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented in Salesforce.
  • Testing & Deployment

    • Develop and review test cases, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and support stakeholders during deployment.
    • Collaborate with developers to verify solutions meet business needs and resolve issues post-launch.
  • Process Documentation

    • Design, document, and maintain business and system processes within Salesforce.
    • Partner with business teams to optimize workflows and ensure process clarity.
  • Training & Communication

    • Deliver training and orientation for business and technical users on Salesforce features and updates.
    • Create and maintain release notes and training documentation.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience as a BA in Agile teams, with a focus on CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce).
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and other CRM/eCommerce technologies.
  • Salesforce certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of API technologies and web/mobile applications.
  • Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, CCBA) is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; able to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable concepts.
  • Experience in writing test cases, facilitating UAT, and supporting deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
  • Effective team player with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be based in Toronto or within commuting distance to the North York office.
