We have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator.
####Job Summary
FUNCTION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the synchronization between production planning, logistics and purchasing. You will serve as a key analytical and operational support hub, ensuring that data flows accurately between our internal teams. This role focuses on data integrity, process optimization, and seamless execution of the production cycle.
####Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production Planning & Client Coordination
- Maintain and update production data and replenishment schedules.
- Act as point of contact for internal partners for inventory status and production timelines. Coordinate the execution of the production plan, ensuring all internal stakeholders are aligned.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Coordinate inventory movements to ensure a continuous production flow.
- Coordinate materials staging process with the warehouse team according to the production schedule.
- Lead cycle counts for client-owned components and reconcile discrepancies.
- Review and analyze consumption history to optimize future replenishment levels. Coordinate the inbound and outbound with Logistics, Purchasing and Planning Team
- Data Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and automated dashboards. Utilize Power BI (or similar tools) to visualize and update supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
- Project Management & Process Improvement
- Track tasks and milestones ensure timely release and delivery of products and services.
- Conduct regular status meetings, capture minutes, and hold team members accountable for action items.
- Performs other related duties as required.
####Qualifications
Contract Duration - 1 year
Education
- University degree in a related field, including commerce, business administration, supply chain or engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical, Beverage, Consumer Product or Food Packaging Environment is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting internal manufacturing operations
- Direct working knowledge of operations, negotiations, inventory control, and sales & operations planning.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge with SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory management systems.
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros) and proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication and presentation skills.
- Resiliency and the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service orientation.
Starting at approximately $65,000 CAD, with an opportunity for an increase based on qualifications and experience. Total rewards include comprehensive benefits, and continuous learning and development programs available through our online Learning Management System.
