Employment Status Full Time Employment Type Fixed Term Job Summary Specific Duties
Under supervision, perform a variety of tasks throughout the College such as:
- Moving furniture, supplies and clean-up as required.
- Various physical tasks such as digging, placing concrete, grounds clean-up etc.
- Assist Facilities Staff with the maintenance of grounds and buildings.
- Assist with cutting lawns, trimming and weed control.
- Assist with planting and maintenance of flower beds, shrubs and trees.
- Operation of various types of grounds and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Must carry a two way radio.
- You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners.
- You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicating in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.
- Other related duties as assigned by Facilities Services Manager or Designate.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have if required, Level 1 Occupational First Aid ticket.
- Ability to follow directions and work well under supervision.
- Some knowledge of grounds and maintenance tasks an asset.
- Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to interact with others.
- Good knowledge of safety procedures.
Band C Grade NA Salary $50,517 per year Location Prince George CNC Campus Prince George Province BC Country Canada Department Facilities Services
