Job Title: Claims Paralegal
Department: Client Services
Reports To: Client Services Project Manager
Position Summary
The Claims Paralegal provides essential support to the Project Management team in delivering client service projects. This role is responsible for assisting with project execution, coordinating cross‑functional activities, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of deliverables. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Professional fluency in both English and French is mandatory to ensure effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Support claims management and processing, including reviewing and resolving claim inquiries and process issues.
- Provide legal support services as needed.
- Assist Project Managers with day‑to‑day project execution, including organizing meetings, tracking deadlines, and preparing client updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Claims Operations and other cross‑functional teams.
- Conduct data review and analysis to support accurate reporting.
- Maintain clear and organized project documentation.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Communicate professionally and effectively in both English and French with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Uphold strong professional etiquette and demonstrate high attention to detail.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
Job Requirements
- M ust hold an active paralegal license with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO),
- 3–5 years of experience in claims management or a related role.
- Professional fluency in English and French (oral and written).
- Must reside in Ontario.
- Ability to draft and review documents in both English and French.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools.
- Tech‑savvy, with experience using DocuSign.
- Equipped to work from home.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime during peak project periods or deadlines.

The compensation range for this role is paid on an hourly basis and is equivalent to an annual compensation range of approximately $50,960 – $58,800 CAD, based on a 40‑hour work week. This role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This will be based on your background and skills alignment with the role.
This role is also overtime eligible in accordance with provincial employment standards.
