Salary: Up to £50k dependant on experience
Location: London / Hybrid — the team meets in the office on Mondays, with additional co-working days as needed
Martin Ashley Architects are a small, dedicated team of specialist historic building conservation architects and surveyors with a particular passion for working directly with skilled traditional craftspeople and developing close working relationships with longstanding clients.
Our clients include the Royal Household, Eton College, Historic Royal Palaces, and the Old Royal Naval College, amongst many important others, and as such MAA’s work portfolio consists almost entirely of buildings of international significance.
MAA have flexible remote working policies, with team members generally dividing their time between working from home, out on sites throughout London and the Southeast and at our practice hub based in Twickenham.
It’s the perfect time for a candidate to join the practice; MAA are modernising our working practices and there is a genuine opportunity to help shape the future of the practice as part of a close-knit team dedicated to the conservation of historic buildings.
We are looking for an ambitious conservation architect and/or Part II architectural assistant to join our busy team. An ideal candidate would have, or be aiming for, AABC/RIBA conservation accreditation, and possess a passion for historic building conservation, project leading experience where appropriate, excellent project management skills and a keen attention to detail.
MAA are committed to continuing training for team members and are encouraging of practical hands on conservation experience in the development of conservation knowledge. MAA offer a flexible and generous policy for CPD/training, as we believe such training benefits the careers of conservation professionals and can build better relationships with skilled conservation contractors. MAA will actively help arrange training and development in any areas of interest for our successful candidate.
Please email a CV and Portfolio to recruitment@ma-arch.co.uk.
