Start your career where hands-on work meets real impact. As a Shop Technician based out of our Oakville branch, you’ll play a key role in preparing, maintaining, and supporting life safety equipment that protects people every day.

Main Responsibilities

Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair activities including:

  • Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of fire equipment such as extinguishers and other types of fire & life safety equipment
  • Conducting fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, and audits, with value-add suggestions for follow-up and maintenance
  • Performing site-specific training for owners and end-users

What We Offer

  • Annual salary - 47,000-52,000K based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • Monday to Friday, salaried position with paid vacation and other time away from work benefits; potential for overtime

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent hands-on role with vehicles or other motorized equipment
  • Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools
  • A valid drivers’ license and clean drivers abstract
  • Prior customer service experience and great communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Able to pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing as well as criminal background checks
