Program Manager, 50/50 Lottery (12-Week Term)
About the role
Reporting to the Associate Director**,** OSEG Foundation, the Program Manager, 50/50 Lottery is a full-time, three-month contract role responsible for the planning and executing of the Foundation’s 50/50 lottery program. This position oversees all operational, financial, staffing, compliance, and reporting components of the 50/50 raffles, ensuring full adherence to Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations while driving revenue performance and operational excellence.
This part-time, fixed term role has an hourly rate of $23/hr. This is a temporary replacement position and requires a fully on-site work arrangement. This position’s term is March 23, 2026, to June 12, 2026 (20 hours per week / 12 weeks).
What you’ll do:
50/50 Lottery Operations:
- Coordinate all financial, licensing, marketing, technical, reporting, staffing, customer service, and logistical components of each 50/50 raffle.
- Ensure full compliance with AGCO regulations and internal controls.
- Oversee raffle setup, execution, reconciliation, and post-event reporting.
- Prepare accurate financial and operational reports following each raffle.
Staffing & Supervision:
- Schedule and supervise 50/50 sellers and game-day supervisors.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching to drive revenue outcomes.
- Ensure sellers are knowledgeable on compliance requirements and customer engagement best practices.
- Manage staffing logistics for game days and special events.
Revenue & Performance Management:
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives related to the 50/50 program.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and historical trends.
What’s needed:
- Completion of Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience supervising part-time employees and/or volunteers.
- Experience in fundraising or revenue-generating programs.
- Direct experience managing a 50/50 lottery program is considered a strong asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with gaming technology and data systems.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and achieve quality results.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Available to work weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends mandatory.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position including standing/walking/climbing stairs and moving equipment for extended periods of time.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
