This is an outbound-first role for someone who loves the chase — building target lists, cold calling food and beverage plants across Quebec and Canada, qualifying real opportunities, and handing warm, booked meetings to our Account Executives so they can close. The Impact You'll Make (Food & Beverage Focus) You're the tip of the spear for our F&B growth — targeting bakeries, meat and poultry processors, dairy, beverage, snack and packaged-food plants, and co-packers. Working alongside our Food & Beverage Account Executives, you will: Build the list: Research target accounts, identify decision-makers (maintenance, engineering, procurement, plant managers), and build clean prospecting lists using LinkedIn and our CRM. Own the outbound: Make high-volume cold calls and send sharp cold emails every day. This is the core of the job — consistent, confident, aggressive outreach. Qualify hard: Run discovery before you pass anything on. Quality over noise. Book the meetings: Schedule qualified prospects into Full Intro meetings and On-site Technical sales visits with our Account Executives, and set them up to win. Keep the system clean: Log every call, email, and opportunity in the CRM with impeccable accuracy — your pipeline is your scoreboard. Feed the engine: Share market intel from the field with sales and leadership so we keep sharpening the F&B play. (Typical F&B product families you'll talk about: food-grade modular plastic belting, sanitary stainless conveyor chains and belts, engineered and roller chains, sprockets, Overhead Chains, and specialty custom conveyor chains .) What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) Consistently hitting daily outbound call and email targets A steady stream of qualified meetings booked for the F&B Account Executives 100% of activity and opportunities accurately captured in the CRM Qualified meetings that actually show up and convert into real sales opportunities Positive feedback from the AEs you support and the prospects you reach What You Bring Hunter mindset: You're motivated by the chase, comfortable with cold outreach, and you don't take "no" personally. Experience: 1–4+ years in sales development, inside sales, telemarketing, or B2B customer-facing roles. Industrial / distribution or F&B exposure is a plus, but drive and coachability matter most. Communication: Clear, confident, and calm under pressure — excellent phone and email skills. Resilience & discipline: You can run high call volume and stay organized without dropping balls. Tools: CRM experience (Zoho or similar). Language: Fully bilingual (French & English) — you'll prospect across Quebec and nationally.
