About the role
About The Role The Vendor Marketing Specialist develops, coordinates, executes marketing campaigns and manages budgets for assigned vendor accounts. The core responsibilities include managing deadlines, projects requirements, vendor marketing activity implementation, and MDF claims to ensure accuracy. This role is responsible for supporting the vendor marketing relationship and works as a liaison with internal stakeholders to support the business needs and desired outcomes. The Vendor Marketing Specialist has a robust understanding of ROI requirements of executed campaigns and ability to present detailed metrics and recommendations to key stakeholders.
What You'll Do Campaign Coordination: Assist in planning, executing, and measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, events, digital ads) that resonate with our target audiences.
Project Management: Create and maintain project timelines, status reports, and task lists; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and visualize campaign performance data; prepare actionable insights and recommendations to optimize ROI.
Creative Collaboration: Work with designers, content writers, and external agencies to ensure deliverables meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and deadlines.
Stakeholder Communication: Host project kick-off and status meetings; draft presentations and executive summaries to keep internal teams and leadership informed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, standardize templates, and enhance efficiency across the marketing organization.
Event Support: Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, trade shows, and webinars-from venue sourcing to attendee follow-up.
Systems & Tools: Become an expert in our marketing automation, CRM, and project management platforms to ensure data accuracy and process consistency.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing, project coordination, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree; Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is an asset
- Proven ability to execute detailed instructions, prioritize tasks, and request clarification when needed
- Strong data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; comfort performing basic mathematical calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear presentations and share insights with diverse stakeholders
- Skilled at building effective, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience negotiating with peers, vendors, and internal partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities; adept at managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and in a team environment
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, software, and technologies at an intermediate level
Annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
- Hiring Salary Range $ 48,000 -$53,000 CAD
