Job Overview
The Special Projects Support Clerk is responsible for providing project support which can include reviewing Member information, validating entries into designated systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Role
In the role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing project support to the operations team
- Acquire information from various sources and departments, compile, sort, verify and correct information to be entered, and/or review information for completeness, accuracy, and to improve overall quality when required
- Filter and "clean" existing files and/or data to ensure up to information when required
- Assist in digitizing files by scanning them to store electronically, ensure appropriate file tags and storage when required
- Maintain file requirements by following program techniques and procedures
- Perform all data entry related tasks including sorting, proofing, updating, and storing files accurately and efficiently when required
- Process and resolve inquiries from the business when required
- Verify Member and account information by reviewing, correcting, deleting; purging files to eliminate duplication of information
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information organized and confidential
- Work with management to prioritize business and informational needs and provide updates along the way
- Adhere to policies and procedures at all times, as amended from time to time
- Complete all work accurately and efficiently
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Consider healthsafety as a primary concern to ensure the overall well-being of yourself and others
- Perform other duties as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Temenos Banking System, Laserfiche
- Understanding of membership and loan files is considered an asset
- Be organized in your work and time management
- Must have high level of accuracy and efficient data entry skills
- Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Must be able to work well with minimum supervision
- Ability to effectively problem solve to find creative and beneficial solutions
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Work within established work hours to meet member service demands
- Ability to identify and mitigate enterprise risk factors and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, legislation and FirstOntario policies and procedures
