The Housing Division, Program and Service Design Branch is seeking a dynamic and creative leader for the position of Director of Program Effectiveness. Reporting to the Executive Director of Program and Service Design, the position oversees quality management for the Division through the development of evaluation frameworks to ensure services delivered by Housing are effective, efficient and support the Ministry's strategic direction. This position also has oversight of program performance, reporting, analysis, and providing recommendations for improvement; leading cross Divisional/Ministerial projects; and provides leadership and direction on intergovernmental relations. It also plays a key role in the Housing Division's budget development process and long-term strategic planning.
To be successful in this position you will have a thorough understanding of government planning, decision-making and housing issues as well as a comprehensive knowledge of quality management strategies and processes; be a leader that has demonstrated the ability to understand and respond to multiple demands; have a proven track record in developing and maintaining professional relationships with senior managers and staff; be results oriented and accountable with the ability to exercise sound judgment in a continuously changing environment; and have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Typically, the successful candidate will have significant management and leadership experience and will have obtained the knowledge and abilities required for this position through a university degree in Public or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Position is based in Regina.
