Job Description: Provides intensive case management to individuals with chronic

and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and/or group context.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Experience working with Indigenous culture/traditions/health
  • Min. 2 yrs clinical exp. in opioid & alcohol withdrawal assessment
  • Min. 2 yrs exp. in harm reduction strategies & conducting physical assessments

Education

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Phlebotomy course
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies
  • Trained in current ASIST suicide risk assessment model

Other Information

  • Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
