We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Transportation team. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and positioning of vehicles and passengers on the ferry, maintaining safety conditions, operating ferry ramps, assisting in emergency drills, and performing routine maintenance and safety checks.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- Experience operating various types of hand tools
- Experience working with the general public and make decisions which ensures the safety of the travelling public
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment
This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:
- class 5 driver's licence or equivalent
- transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certificate (to be met within 1 month of hire)
Job Requirements
This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following job requirements:
- Travel throughout the territory,
- Work in adverse weather conditions,
- Work outside of the headquarters area for extended periods of time,
- Use personal protective equipment.
- Steel toed work boots
- Ability to work outside for up to 8 hours in all weather
- Lift up to 50 lbs
