Job Description
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Director, Order to Cash in Moncton, NB. The Director, Order to Cash is a senior leader responsible for optimizing the end-to-end order-to-invoice process, ensuring orders are captured, validated, and converted into revenue with speed, accuracy, and consistency. This role owns order data standards and integrity, enabling reliable information to support operations, real-time planning, and billing as new technologies are implemented. As a transformation leader, they drive process improvements, implement technology, and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and customer service. Working cross-functionally, the Director ensures scalable, flexible processes that support growth and meet evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities
Own and govern the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, ensuring timely, accurate order management and invoicing. Establish and maintain enterprise-wide order data standards, accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Drive operational efficiency by enabling high-quality order data for planning, routing, loading, and execution activities. Ensure all billable services and accessorial charges are accurately captured to minimize billing errors and revenue leakage. Partner with Sales, Pricing, Operations, Customer Services, Account Receivable, and IT to align processes and resolve issues. Lead initiatives to reduce billing delays, disputes, invoice adjustments, and improve overall invoice quality. Champion O2C transformation through process optimization, automation, and adoption of digital technologies such as EDI, APIs, and customer portals. Collaborate with IT to enhance system integration, data flow, scalability, and continuous process improvement. Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering accountability, customer focus, data-driven decision-making, and a culture of continuous improvement and change adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; Prosci certification is considered an asset. 8+ years of experience in transportation, order management, logistics, or supply chain operations. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing large, cross functional teams in order management, customer experience, or operations. Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, order management systems, and operational execution. Experience working with ERP, TMS, order management, and billing systems, including translating business requirements into technology solutions. Hands-on experience with EDI, API integrations, process automation, and system enhancement initiatives. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated analytical, project management, and problem-solving capacities, with a track record of driving process improvements, change initiatives, and business results.
