Your New Role:

  • Manage new claims enquiries by monitoring the claims inbox, reviewing policy information, and accurately setting up new claims on internal systems
  • Support the effective allocation and administration of claims, including reserve changes, individual and bulk payments, and posting recoveries
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues, brokers, TPAs, lawyers, and other external stakeholders, primarily via email correspondence
  • Respond to requests for claims information, advice, and Management Information, including assisting with loss runs used by brokers and underwriters
  • Contribute to claims handling plans by ensuring timely, accurate administration and supporting senior team members with ongoing claims activity
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of claims systems and financial tools, including supporting reconciliations across multiple systems
  • Complete additional claims‑related administrative tasks, including bordereau reconciliations, aged accounts receivable management, and meeting minute‑taking
  • Build an understanding of internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, applying these consistently in day‑to‑day claims activities
  • Act as a reliable point of reference within the team, providing guidance and support to colleagues while developing your own technical capability in claims handling

About you:

  • Experience working in a claims, insurance, or financial services environment, ideally with exposure to claims administration
  • Comfortable managing multiple administrative and operational tasks accurately, including payments, reconciliations, and maintaining claims records across systems
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Confident using claims management systems (including Guidewire), and financial tools, with strong attention to detail when handling data, reports, and Management Information
  • An understanding of the importance of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and the ability to apply these consistently in day‑to‑day work
  • A collaborative and proactive team player who is keen to develop technical claims knowledge, support colleagues, and grow a career in claims handling
