About This Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer Excellence, the Director, Customer Solutions will guide and inspire our Market Unit Sales, eCommerce, and Operations projects and improvement initiatives with a focus on both profitable growth and operational efficiencies across multiple functions within our business. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth and operational efficiencies across our business. As a Centre Of Excellence leader, your collaborative spirit and ability to build strong partnerships across the business will be key to your success as you work with teams such as Commercial, Sales (National, Regional, Market Unit), Supply Chain, Technology, Business Solutions, Finance, Public Affairs and Communications, Business Transformation Office and HR teams.
The successful candidate will be comfortable hitting the ground running and excited about influencing our organization to meet our customers' changing needs. You'll be helping to transform how we service our customers, to deliver as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Please note that this is a contract position, running until September 2026. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and integrated sales operations planning for Market Unit Sales & e-commerce (EDI) with a cross-functional lens.
- Support our multi-year growth strategy for e-commerce by stewarding EDI strategy.
- Mentor, coach, and oversee a team of customer-facing Customer Solutions Executives and the Sr. Manager of EDI Solutions; encourage a culture of learning and development.
- Support project teams who develop and implement customer-focused, cross-functional initiatives, including our System Blueprint and Collaborative Business Planning process.
- Develop and implement productivity initiative goals, targets, and reporting at various sales levels.
- Facilitate root cause analysis of sales operations and provide technical and process support.
- Design and present policies, procedures, and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service for customers.
- Represent our Always Be Customer-Focused imperative for strategic National customers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure critical execution initiatives are prioritized and implemented.
- Contribute to overall capability development for the Market Unit Sales organization.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of customer-facing supply chain management, specifically with experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and experience required to develop strategic and tactical business plans
- In-depth knowledge of and exposure to business process workflows, sales contracts, systems integration and finance/accounting principles.
- Strong relationship building, influence and negotiation skills, able to quickly and easily build rapport with stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record providing business reporting for Senior & Executive leadership.
- Able to decipher and present new concepts and issues clearly and easily when needed.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
