Your role
By joining our team as an SAP Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting enterprise applications across their full lifecycle, including design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. You are recognized for your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities?

Your responsibility
-
Contribute to system design and the development of system specifications and detailed designs, as well as the implementation and maintenance of enterprise software systems (off-the-shelf applications or custom solutions).

Process requests for modifications and customizations, perform testing (unit and integration testing), and carry out data conversions when required.

Execute test plans, identify system defects, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Develop technical procedures for end users and provide training and support when required.
Your profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
-
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in application development, including web development, object-oriented programming, and database administration.
-
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management within an application development and support environment.
-
Experience in user support and training on systems.
-
Knowledge of enterprise software systems, including OpenText Content Server, SAP ERP, Oracle, and MS SQL.
-
Knowledge of applicable procedures, policies, standards, and work practices related to software development and support functions.

Strong experience in analysis and project management.

Proficient in French, verbally and in writing, and fluent in English, verbally. This requisite is explained by the nature of the position which requires communicating with teams located in Québec and Ontario.

The Great Lakes/Seaway System is a “marine highway” that extends some 3,700 km from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes. Ranked as one of the greatest engineering feats of the 20th century, the Seaway includes 13 Canadian locks and 2 U.S. locks connecting the lower St. Lawrence River to the Great Lakes. Together with our American counterpart, the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, we coordinate on a host of operational activities, ranging from traffic management to navigation aids and every other conceivable issue you might imagine would be important for a major waterway.

Le réseau Grands Lacs-Voie maritime est une « autoroute maritime » qui s’étend sur quelque 3700 km de l’océan Atlantique jusqu’aux Grands Lacs. La Voie maritime, considérée comme une des plus grandes prouesses d’ingénierie du 20e siècle, comprend 13 écluses canadiennes et 2 écluses américaines entre le bas du fleuve Saint-Laurent et les Grands Lacs. De concert avec notre homologue des États-Unis la Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, nous coordonnons des activités opérationnelles dans un éventail de domaines, depuis la gestion du trafic jusqu’aux aides à la navigation et à tous les autres aspects imaginables que vous pourriez juger importants pour une grande voie navigable.
