The Role
We’re not just hiring for a position, we’re adding a teammate. Someone who wants to help build what’s next, take real ownership, and grow with us along the way. We’re not looking for someone to “build UI.” We’re looking for someone who can stabilize, modernize, and elevate our frontend platform. This is a senior role for someone who wants to shape direction, not just execute tasks.
Minga is used daily by thousands of educators and students. As we scale, our frontend is at an inflection point:

What You’ll Do
Frontend Architecture & Modernization
- Lead improvements to our Angular/TypeScript architecture.
- Reduce complexity and technical debt through thoughtful refactoring.
- Improve state management, modularization, and maintainability.
- Help guide framework upgrades and UI evolution.
Product Experience & Performance
- Deliver high-quality, responsive, accessible interfaces.
- Improve frontend performance across web and hybrid mobile (Capacitor).
- Partner with Product and Design to ship intuitive, polished experiences.
- Think beyond features through optimizing workflows and user clarity.
Engineering Quality & Developer Experience
- Raise the bar on testing, review quality, and frontend standards.
- Mentor intermediate engineers and elevate frontend craft across teams.
- Contribute to improving CI, release reliability, and pre-merge quality.
- Advocate for clarity, consistency, and sustainable velocity.

What We Require
-
6+ years of professional frontend experience.
-
Deep experience with Frontend Frameworks and TypeScript.
-
Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and state management.
-
Experience building and maintaining complex SaaS applications.
-
Experience integrating with REST or gRPC APIs.
-
Comfortable operating in codebases that are evolving and modernizing.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Who You Are
-
Experience with hybrid mobile apps (Capacitor or similar).
-
Experience leading large framework upgrades.
-
Familiarity with performance monitoring or frontend observability.
-
EdTech experience.
