🚀 IOS/Front end Engineer – Intern-to-Equity Compensation -unpaid /Equity

🔧 The Role – Developer/Engineer (iOS )
We’re looking for a hands-on iOS engineer to join our core team. You’ll work directly with the product founder and technical lead to develop the mobile app, backend services, and APIs from the ground up.
This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role, starting as an internship-style contributor with the potential for equity-based compensation and long-term ownership based on your first 3 months of performance.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and refine our native iOS app using Swift + SwiftUI
- Design scalable backend services using Firebase, Redis, Node.js
- Build and document RESTful APIs for smooth client-server interaction
- Contribute to DevOps and deployment (Firebase/GCP)
- Collaborate on features, roadmap, and technical decisions
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Help shape technical architecture and product direction
✅ You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have iOS and/or full-stack/backend experience (personal projects or shipped products)
- Are fluent or comfortable with Swift, SwiftUI, Firebase, Redis, and API design
- Understand mobile architecture patterns like MVVM or MVC
- Have exposure to Node.js, PostgreSQL, or GCP
- Are self-motivated, curious, and proactive — not just waiting for instructions
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you’re building from scratch
- Are a student, recent graduate, or newcomer to Canada eager to grow
- Want equity, real-world experience, and the opportunity to own something meaningful
💰 Compensation
- First 3 months: Unpaid, flexible, and mentorship-driven contribution
- After 3 months: Equity-based role or extended offer based on performance
- Future cash compensation available post-funding or revenue milestones
