##About the Opportunity

Wheatfield Dental is seeking a caring, patient‑focused Associate Dentist to join a long‑standing, community‑oriented practice in Morinville. With a history spanning 26 years and patients who represent multiple generations, this practice is deeply rooted in trust, quality care, and genuine relationships.

The clinic is growing and preparing for future transitions, including an upcoming retirement and evolving schedules among senior dentists. This is a proactive growth role with the potential to expand from part‑time to full‑time as demand and coverage needs increase.

The ideal candidate is someone who values long‑term relationships, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and is committed to high‑quality dentistry rather than high‑volume production.

##Schedule Needing Coverage

Initial Schedule:

-**Monday:**1:00pm – 9:00pm -**Thursday:**1:00pm – 9:00pm -**Friday:**9:00am – 2:00pm

Expansion Options:

-**Wednesday:**9:00am – 5:00pm -**Tuesday:**9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Potential to addSaturdaysif desired

Additional Details:

  • DDS chair booked1–1.5 monthsout -1 dedicated DDS chair + 1 floater
  • CDA support always available
  • Occasional independent work, but mentorship available

This schedule offers the flexibility to grow hours over time depending on the associate’s preference and patient demand.

  • DDS Chairs: 1 + floater
  • Hygiene Chairs: 2–3
  • Chairs Running Daily: 5

Mentorship is provided by:

  • Senior dentists including Dr. Chen (20+ years experience)
  • Partner dentist Dr. Romanowski (support available; works reduced days due to farming)
  • Ability to shadow at partner location if needed

##Required Clinical Skills

  • Bread‑and‑butter dentistry
  • Basic oral surgery

###Skills Desired (Not Mandatory)

  • Implant dentistry
  • Invisalign

The practice does nearly everything except orthodontics and complex surgeries.

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
