  • Sales Achievement: Own a book of business comprised of both new and existing partners, with responsibility for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to secure long-term, high-value agreements.
  • Market Representation: Represent Medcan at industry conferences, partner events, and networking opportunities.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with internal marketing teams and external partners to develop compelling sales tools and co-branded initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or partner management, with a strong record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive client retention and revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (approximately 15%).
  • Proven success in negotiating complex contracts that support long-term business objectives.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, product, and operations.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in healthcare, group benefits, telemedicine, technology, or related sectors.
