Job Details:

Shift: Evening/Graveyard (4-10 hours)

Duration: November 2025 to March 2026

Average Call-Out for anti-ice : 20-30 days
-
Includes: Stat holidays and weekends
Responsibilities
-
Work side-by-side with experienced leads in industrial and commercial properties.
-
Clear snow and ice from walkways, driveways, and other designated areas.
-
Apply salt or other de-icing materials as required.
-
Use shovels and other equipment to remove snow.
-
Maintain a safe and efficient working pace.
Requirements:

No prior experience required (but is an asset)
-
Willingness to thrive in evening/graveyard shifts.
-
Must have personal protective equipment (PPE) and appropriate winter clothing
-
Comfortable working outdoors in cold and snowy conditions
-
Capability to handle call-outs, including weekends and holidays.

Strong work ethic

About Garden City Tree & Landscape
Garden City Tree & Landscape Ltd was founded by Chris Stansfield approximately 15 yrs ago. The company has grown to 35 full time staff that includes office administration, Human Resource Technician, Risk manager, Estimator and managers of each of its divisions (Arbor, Maintenance, Install, Irrigation, Equipment). Chris Stansfield is President and co owner. Colin Eaton is Vice President and co owner. The two owners have known each other since their early teens and have developed a respectful working relationship. Chris and Colin grew up in the small community of Rossland, B.C. where they experienced first hand core values that are the focal point of its operations: Respect for Individuals, Safe work Environment, Peer Support, Accountabiity Quality Workmanship Client Experience With these core values as our focal point, we continue to hire quality people that perform quality work. With a fleet of nine dump trucks, eight commuter vehicles, and multiple pieces of heavy equipment, we can handle any sized commercial or residential landscape project.
