About the role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring aFood Administrative Associateon a permanent basis on our Shared Services team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

Are you detail ‑ oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a fast ‑ moving food retail environment? As a Food Administrative Associate, you will play a key role in driving our weekly promotional process—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless execution. In this dynamic role, you’ll prepare and manage promotion files, complete essential journal entries and claims, and collaborate closely with our Category Management and Food Marketing teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform data entry of all promotion priced items for various promotions based on submitted contracts submitted and email communication of any changes.
  • Perform typing, data entry, proofreading, and document preparation as required.
  • Prepare weekly promotional documentation materials, including cover pages, order forms, in ‑ store food signage kits, and flyer copy for general advertising programs.
  • Maintain and update central promotion files, schedules, and related documentation.
  • Create and proof in ‑ store sign kits and flyer copy to ensure accuracy and alignment with promotional updates.
  • Prepare retail debits, credits, and supplier claims.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Who you’ll work with: **The Team:**You will work on a team with two other Food Admin Associates and will report into the Marketing Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of communication, collaboration, and support.

**The Collaborators:**You will work closely with other functions in our consumer products business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Category Management and Food Marketing.

**The Customers:**You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting our local co-op food store locations.

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Administration and :

  • Have a minimum of one year of retail/wholesale experience. Preference will be given to retail grocery/fresh experience.
  • Have a grade 12 diploma.
  • Are familiar with food, grocery, and have a basic knowledge of Microsoft programs – Excel and Word.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with daily deadlines while working within a team environment.
