Summary

The Quality Systems Coordinator is an administrative position within the department which collects and monitors information related to quality and process improvement functions. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of customer turnover packages, using customer documentation portals and ensuring internal documentation is controlled.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project site QC records
  • Take the lead in encouraging users to complete action items and sign-offs associated with non-conformances
  • Work with leadership and users to ensure document and record control requirements are met.
  • Ensure maintenance of document control administration and user training
  • Assist with the creation and updating of quality system documents, as required.
  • Create and maintains various quality documentation (ITP’s etc.)
  • Assist other departments with their documentation as required
  • Assist with internal quality auditing program.
  • Collect and ensures proper storage of quality documentation for projects
  • Create turnover packages for key customers.
  • Facilitate Root Cause/Corrective Action meetings
  • Provide quotes for quality to proposal group for RFQs
  • Create and maintains analytics dashboard for nonconformance reporting, as well as other miscellaneous quality metrics
  • Perform site QA visits and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education, technical in nature or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience that’s deemed relevant
  • 2+ years working with quality programs
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, CSA A660, CWB 47.1 is an asset
  • Quality Auditor training is an asset
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement programs is an asset (NCR, root cause, CAR, risk assessment)
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outward drive, enthusiasm and tenacity
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform under time sensitive deadlines
  • Must be willing to be cross trained and backup our proposals team as required.
