Business Intelligence Analyst (Report Developer)

Teacup is seeking experienced Business Intelligence Developers to support a large contract renewal initiative. Successful candidates will leverage their expertise in Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies and data warehousing concepts to design, develop, and deliver reporting and analytics solutions that support critical project objectives. Key responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to develop reporting solutions that meet project needs.
- Develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports, SSRS reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
- Work closely with business analysts, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to validate reporting requirements and report outputs.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables.
- Optimize report performance and usability to support effective business decision-making
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business or related field or College Diploma in related filed of study and/or equivalent experience Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience developing business intelligence and reporting solutions using Microsoft BI technologies. Professional confident communicator in the Data Warehouse and BI space.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced SQL query development and data analysis skills.
- Strong DAX development experience, including creation of measures, calculated columns, and performance optimization techniques.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience developing reporting solutions against SSAS Tabular Models.
- Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and reporting best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools for work item tracking is considered an asset
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic project environment
Language Skills: English required, Bilingualism is considered an asset.
Security Clearance: Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, the successful candidate will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and they must have resided in Canada for at least 10 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
