About the role

A career as a full stack developer in the IT Delivery – Capital Markets team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in software and cloud development. This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization thanks to your expertise in software engineering, DevOps automation, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Your role

  • Develop, test, deploy, and debug applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a security-first approach.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions to accelerate value delivery.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure and applications based on the “everything as code” principle, from design to production.
  • Automate testing (unit and integration) and quality assurance to ensure reliable deployments.
  • Monitor and instrument production solutions to detect, alert, and respond effectively to incidents.
  • Apply high availability and resilience best practices for mission-critical systems supporting corporate financing.

The Capital Markets Vice-Presidency is a community of specialists working in an agile, proactive, and collaborative way to seize opportunities, stay at the cutting edge of technology, and continuously improve processes.
Within the IT Delivery – Capital Markets sector, you’ll be part of a team of 13 colleagues and report to the team lead in software development. Our team stands out for its dynamism, collaboration, and ability to turn technical challenges into concrete solutions for our business partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, Lambda, EKS, S3, RDS, security, and networking).
  • Solid experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in at least one back-end language (e.g., Java) and a modern front-end framework (e.g., React or Angular).
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity, rigor, and a commitment to continuous learning.
