The position of "TEMPORARY EDUCATION ASSISTANT” with School District No. 51

(Boundary), with assignment to West

Boundary Elementary School,

effective start date of May 11, 2026.

The position is six (6) hours per day, four (4) days per week, until June

25, 2026, and while students are in school. You are not required to work on non-instructional days.

The applicant should possess the following

qualifications:

A

College Diploma Program that supports Special Education students in the

classroom, or equivalent, as recognized by School District No. 51.

A

minimum of three months of current and demonstrated successful

experience/training working with Special Education students.

Note:

Applicants may be considered if they:

• have

  equivalent successful work experience in K-12 schools as a Special

  Education Assistant;

• are currently enrolled

  in a Special Education Assistant diploma program;

• have a diploma/degree

  that includes course work in human behavior.
