3D Artist – 6-Month Full-Time Contract
PEAK® Products, a leader in the home improvement industry, is seeking a talented 3D Artist with 3–5 years of experience to join our Creative Marketing Team on a 6-month full-time contract. This position focuses on creating high-quality 3D environments and product renderings for both development and marketing purposes. The ideal candidate will be skilled in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation, with a strong eye for detail. Previous experience in the home improvement industry is a plus but not required.
As a 3D Artist at PEAK® Products, you will collaborate closely with our Product Development, and Creative Marketing Team to ensure that product visuals meet our brand’s standards and showcase the functionality and aesthetics of our offerings.
Key Details:
- Contract Term: 6 months, full-time
- Wage: $35–$40/hour, based on experience
- Schedule: 4 days in-office (Monday–Thursday), Fridays work from home (hybrid)
- Location: 180 Via Renzo Dr, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 0J7
Responsibilities:
- Create realistic 3D models, environments, product renderings, and animations from concept to completion for product development and marketing materials.
- Animate 3D models to showcase product features, assembly instructions, or environmental interactions, enhancing the user experience.
- Work with Product Development to ensure accurate visual representation of new products, concepts, and prototypes.
- Support the Creative Team by producing high-quality renderings and animations for websites, social media, advertisements, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align visuals with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Ensure renderings and animations meet the required specifications for various formats (print, digital, and video).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest 3D modeling, animation, and rendering techniques, tools, and trends.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist or in a related role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering skills.
- Proficiency in 3D software such as 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya, Blender, or equivalent.
- Experience with rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion, Blender (Cycles), Unreal Engine, and OctaneRender.)
- Solid understanding of design principles, colour theory, and lighting techniques.
- Ability to adapt style and work based on project needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with product development and marketing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the home improvement industry, with a solid understanding of products like furniture, appliances, flooring, or home décor.
