We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Curriculum Developer to support the creation of learner-centered educational programs and instructional materials. This role contributes to the development of high-quality curriculum that aligns with regulatory standards and reflects best practices in adult education.
Major responsibilities (Including but not limited to the following):
- Develop learner-centered curriculum and instructional materials that align with government and regulatory requirements, as well as current educational best practices.
- Create and integrate interactive elements for online learning using tools such as Articulate 360, Moodle, and other multimedia platforms.
- Collaborate with instructors, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, and relevant.
- Maintain and organize curriculum and digital assets using SharePoint.
- Provide ongoing support to the instructional design team in the development and enhancement of educational resources.
- Assist in reviewing and updating curriculum content to reflect evolving educational trends, technological advancements, and subject matter updates.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in Distance Learning/Education, English, Instructional Design, or Graphic Design.
- Proficient with Office 365.
- Experience with course authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
- Knowledge of Moodle or other learning management systems.
- Previous experience in an educational environment is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Other Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality educational content.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to enhance curriculum effectiveness and learner engagement.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies relevant to curriculum development and eLearning.
