About the role
Hartmann Canada Inc, in Brantford, Ontario is a division of Hartmann North America. We are the world leader of moulded fibre egg cartons. The demand for moulded fibre and environmentally sustainable products is rapidly increasing. Hartmann has committed and invested in this area to meet the growing demand of our products.
The role is responsible for ensuring that production materials, printing supplies, and inventory are accurately managed and available to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role combines inventory control, material planning, and logistics coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Key Activities
- Assess incoming materials (i.e., labels)
- Manage printing plates, including tracking, inspection, cleaning and filing of the plates
- Manage printing ink inventory and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient ink storage area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Inventory management of printing parts, plates, labels and inks.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and associated reconciliation in the production and storeroom area(s) to support operational requirements
- Provide support for audits and internal processes
- Planning of materials in order to ensure supply targets are maintained and replenish raw material inventory within production areas
- Process transactions related to the receipt of materials
- Other duties as assigned to support the department or other departments

Minimum Qualifications
- Post Secondary education in business, warehouse, or inventory management with relevant work experience
- 5-10 years of Inventory Management in production facilities or warehouses an asset
- Experienced and comfortable operating a forklift with certification
- Print industry background an asset
Working Conditions
- Always work indoors.
- Quiet to moderate noise levels.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent typing and handling of small office tools.
- Frequent repetitive office tasks.
- Ability to list up to 30 lbs
