Reporting to the Install Supervisor, the Install Lead is responsible for overseeing and performing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position involves ensuring a successful execution of installations, and training the Install Apprentices on their team, as well as maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities:
This position will include, but not be limited to the following:
HVAC Installations
-
Installation of residential gas furnaces
-
Installation of residential central air conditioning units
-
Installation of residential water heating systems
-
Review placement of equipment and any preparation required for installation of equipment
Technical Expertise
-
Perform precise and code-compliant installations of HVAC systems.
-
Ensure all equipment is properly set up, tested and operational upon completion.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during installations.
Customer Experience & Satisfaction
-
Explain the installation process to customer and address their questions or concerns.
-
Conduct walk throughs with the customer at the beginning and end of each installation appointment and confirm customer satisfaction.
-
Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the duration of each appointment.
-
Explain operations and service requirements to the homeowner of the equipment installed.
-
One time completion: Follow all processes to ensure each installation is completed properly and to code.
Quality Assurance & Process Adherence

Follow established standard operating procedures (SOP's) for installations.
-
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
-
Provide constructive feedback to improve installation techniques and reduce callbacks.
Resource & Time Management
-
Prepare and organize all necessary equipment and materials before arriving at the job site.

Monitor and report inventory needs or equipment issues.
-
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
Safety & Compliance
- Actively participate in the company safety program, ensure job site safety at all times, and maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines.
- Conduct scheduled vehicle inspections.
- Stay updated on local code and compliance requirements.
- Use tools and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or damage.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3-year driver’s license with clean abstract

2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience

Problem solving and communication skills
-
Customer/member service oriented

Responsibilities:
