Job Description:
Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson
Pitbull energy services are seeking qualified Journeyperson and 4th year apprentices for work in our Fort McMurray Shop. We specialize in vac and water trucks, and our skilled team of mechanics take on a diverse portfolio of repairs from engine and transmission overhauls, field repairs across three provinces, CVIP inspections and day to day maintenance. We are seeking shop mechanics that thrive in a fast-paced environment and positive team moral.
Key responsibilities
- Accurate record keeping
- Perform inspections accurately
- Perform repairs on various truck systems
- Advanced electrical diagnostics
- Engine repair
- Vac truck overhaul and repair
- Truck service
- Field repairs
Qualifications
- Journeyperson certification
- CVIP license
- Highway truck repair (1-4 years)
- Service truck experience
- Vac and water truck experience ( 1-2 years is an asset)
- Class 3 (class 5 considered)
- Successfully pass the Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screening Test
- A reliable and adaptable safety-conscious team player with a great attitude

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
