About the role

#####Position Summary

Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Information & Technology Services – Service Delivery department.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position is directly accountable for the successful management of several smaller to medium projects and for providing project management support as a member of the IMIT Project Management Office. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for facilitating and consolidating project and product requirements to support project initiation.

#####Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Communications plus;

  • Three (3) years recent related experience;

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to show strong initiative.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to deal with others effectively.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and adapt to changing environments and timelines.

  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

  • Proficient with MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and able to create project workplans
