  Could you be the full-time Lead Finance Project Manager (FPM) in Toronto, ON we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your financial leadership expertise in a dynamic, project-driven environment. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and forward-thinking team of professionals. You'll play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of complex, high-criticality projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, operations, legal, and procurement, to ensure strong financial governance, optimize cash flow, and create value for the business. You’ll specifically take care of monitoring and managing costs, revenues, margins, and cash flow performance, but also provide strategic financial insights to improve project outcomes.   We’ll look to you for:

Leading and controlling all financial aspects of high-criticality projects

Partnering with the Project Manager to support decision-making and execution

Providing financial insights to improve project and business performance

Identifying risks and opportunities, and implementing mitigation or improvement plans

Ensuring compliance with internal policies, IFRS standards, and local regulations

Supporting contract management, claims, and negotiations with a financial lens

Preparing accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and project reviews (e.g., MPR/FPR)

Driving working capital optimization and promoting a strong cash culture

Mentoring and developing junior finance professionals

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field

CPA designation or MBA (preferred)

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance

Experience working in a matrix and multicultural environment (preferred)

Proven experience in managing and mentoring a growing team

Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills

Ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decisions

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

Strategic and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage complexity and prioritize effectively

  Compensation The expected compensation for this role is $145,000 – $175,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
