What This Role Is All About

The Talent & Learning Manager is central to that belief — leading the way in attracting exceptional talent while building programs that support growth, engagement, and career development. This role is split evenly between recruiting top talent to join our team and designing learning experiences that help every team member thrive. With a balance of strategy and hands-on delivery, this role ensures our people practices reflect Chard’s promise of Uncommon Care.

What You’ll Be Doing

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles, from job posting to offer, ensuring an efficient and welcoming candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop selection strategies, and make confident hiring decisions.
  • Build and manage candidate pipelines, leveraging networks, referrals, and external partnerships.
  • Develop employer branding and recruitment campaigns that position Chard as an employer of choice.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and market trends to continuously refine our talent acquisition approach.

Learning & Development

  • Design and deliver learning programs that develop technical expertise, leadership skills, and service excellence.
  • Manage Chard’s learning programs (LMS + in-person programming), including content creation, curation, and measurement of outcomes.
  • Build engaging onboarding experiences that set new team members up for success from day one.
  • Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and create tailored training solutions.
  • Track participation and outcomes to ensure learning initiatives deliver measurable impact.

Talent Programs & Engagement

  • Develop and oversee career pathways and succession planning frameworks to support growth and retention.
  • Lead recognition programs that celebrate achievements and bring Chard’s culture to life.
  • Support engagement survey analysis and follow-up, helping teams translate insights into action.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and shared knowledge.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in recruitment and learning/talent development, ideally within real estate, construction, property management or related industries.
  • Proven success in managing full-cycle recruitment and building strong pipelines.
  • Experience designing and delivering impactful learning programs, both in-person and online.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in managing an ATS and LMS, along with other digital HR tools.
  • Familiarity with career development frameworks, performance management, and employee engagement practices.
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for helping people grow.

The target salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 annually dependent on the candidate's experience.
