Benefits: Bonus based on performance Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement We are currently hiring a compassionate and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to assist a family in Oshawa with supporting a child with autism and special needs.

The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, energetic, and has previous experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and/or other developmental or special needs.

Position Details

• 5 days per week
• 3 to 4 hour shifts
• Consistent ongoing schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and supportive care to a child with special needs
• Safely drive the family member to and from classes, programs, and activities
• Assist with daily routines and supervision
• Build a positive and supportive relationship with the child and family

Requirements

• Experience working with children with autism and/or special needs REQUIRED
• PSW certification is considered an asset
• Valid G driver’s license REQUIRED
• Reliable personal vehicle REQUIRED
• Comfortable driving as part of the role
• Clean driving record
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
