Emergency Veterinarian – Toronto Animal Health Partners (TAHP) Toronto Animal Health Partners is a 24/7 emergency and specialty referral hospital modeled on best practices in human medicine - where advanced technology, deep collaboration, and patient first care meet to deliver exceptional outcomes for pets and the people who love them.

What You’ll Love
- Competitive compensation: Hourly pay range: $110.00 - $140.00/hr (based on experience), signing bonus, plus bonus potential

The Role: What You’ll Do
- Triage and manage critical cases in a high acuity ER/ICU setting.
- Diagnose and treat urgent presentations using advanced imaging and in house diagnostics.
- Collaborate in daily rounds with specialty services to design comprehensive care plans.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners through difficult moments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement via case reviews, teaching moments, and shared learning.
- Average weekly hours: 36 hrs/week (3x12h shifts), designed to protect work life balance while meeting 24/7 demand. ER teams at TAHP commonly use block schedules that create predictable recovery time.
- Candidates must be available to work: days, nights, weekends and holidays
What We Are Looking For
- A valid Ontario DVM license
- Minimum of two years in ER/critical care and comfort with a fast paced, team-based environment.
- Excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients.
- Commitment to patient centered care and continuous learning
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude are a must
