About the role

Reporting to the Head of Product, Residential Lending, the Product Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the delivery, evolution, and performance management of Manulife Bank’s Residential Lending products, programs, and strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to bridge strategy and execution—providing strong analytical support, business case development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and executive‑level reporting.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical, detail‑oriented professional who is comfortable working across data, systems, and stakeholders, and who takes pride in producing high‑quality analysis, models, and presentations that support sound decision‑making.

Position Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Strategic Support

  • Support the development of business cases, including financial analysis, assumptions, benefits articulation, and risk considerations
  • Conduct business and data analysis to support product enhancements, campaigns, policy changes, and strategic initiatives
  • Gather, document, and validate business and user requirements, ensuring alignment with product strategy and intended outcomes
  • Prepare analysis and materials to support product governance, leadership reviews, and investment decisions

Reporting, Insights & Executive Readouts

  • Support the preparation of Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business / Board Reviews, ensuring materials are accurate, insightful, and executive‑ready
  • Build and maintain user‑friendly Excel models to analyze product performance, financial impacts, adoption trends, and scenario outcomes
  • Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations that translate complex analysis into decision‑ready insights for senior leaders and executives
  • Ensure reporting outputs are consistent with agreed definitions, assumptions, and governance standards
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities and surface insights to Product Managers and leadership

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Launch Support

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for product launches, pricing changes, campaigns, and enhancements
  • Develop UAT plans, test cases, and scenarios in partnership with Product Managers, Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders
  • Coordinate test execution, defect tracking, triage, and resolution to ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Support launch readiness by validating business rules, operational processes, advisor impacts, and downstream dependencies

Product Delivery & Ongoing Support

  • Partner with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams (Technology, Operations, Digital, Sales, Marketing, Risk, and Finance) to support product delivery and change initiatives
  • Assist with campaign execution, product updates, and post‑launch monitoring
  • Maintain and update product documentation, requirements, and supporting materials
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve advisor and customer experience

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a key point of coordination across Product, Technology, and business teams during analysis, testing, and delivery phases
  • Support strong communication and alignment by translating technical and business concepts into clear, actionable outputs
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and to a high quality standard

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Analysis, Business Analysis, or Financial Services roles
  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred or equivalent experience considered)
  • Experience supporting product launches, campaigns, or change initiatives in a regulated environment
  • Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect management
  • Strong analytical skills with experience supporting business cases and financial analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building structured, user friendly models and scenario analysis
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clean, visually appealing, executive ready presentations
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross functional environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Residential lending or mortgage experience preferred

Salary range is expected to be between

$62,850.00 CAD - $104,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
