We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our team! Our Intern Program is designed to support the development of students and recent graduates for future positions by offering one-on-one mentoring, peer and experiential learning, internal training programs, and much more. We are currently accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s level students or recent graduates seeking the opportunity to work in the investment management space.

As part of the Finance team, the intern will support cost optimization and process improvement initiatives, assist with analytics and reporting, and help prepare materials for internal stakeholders and senior leadership. This role provides hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and AI-driven business transformation.

Responsibilities Include: As a Finance intern, you may be responsible for a variety of tasks that typically involve the following:

  • Participating in business transformation and process optimization projects: Work alongside experienced professionals to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity across the organization
  • Assisting with data collection and analysis: Gather, organize, and analyze financial and operational data to support cost optimization initiatives and process improvement efforts
  • Preparing and presenting analysis, reports, and recommendations: Develop clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Supporting Finance’s GenAI initiative: Contribute to the development of training materials and assist with real-world use cases that leverage artificial intelligence to enhance financial processes
  • Contributing to team projects and responsibilities as assigned: Take part in various team activities, collaborate with colleagues, and support ongoing initiatives as needed

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Passion for process optimization, business transformation, and productivity improvement
  • Having a solid understanding of business concepts, financial principles, and data analysis
  • Ability to prioritize and complete given tasks within the required timeframe
  • Comfort with working on large amounts of data and strong attention to detail
  • Proven technical skills in but not limited to Excel/VBA, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI; familiarity with AI concepts is an asset
  • Self-starter with a great work attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong personal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues of all levels

The base salary range for this position is CAD $45,000 to $65,000. The placement within the range is determined by the role and assessment of the candidate’s year of study and relevant work experience.
