Position

MIMOSA is seeking a skilled Developer in Test to join our dynamic team and make impactful contributions to our growing remote health platform. As a Developer in Test, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with our cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize robust testing solutions. This role offers an opportunity to leverage emerging technologies, and make a meaningful impact within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain application stress-tests, and testing frameworks for our products.
  • Design, develop, and maintain unit tests for software components.
  • Ensure unit tests cover all scenarios and facilitate refactoring and code upgrades.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development and testing practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create high-quality solutions.
  • Be open to learning and contributing to MIMOSA.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in unit test creation and methodologies.
  • Experience with load-testing and automated testing frameworks such as Postman, Appium, Selenium.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to software development (e.g., Java, Kotlin, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Self-directed, with a proactive approach to seeking feedback and collaboration.
  • Experience in the medical technology, the healthcare industry, or other highly regulated industries is an asset.
