The opportunity: Are you detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for real estate and finance? At BGO, you’ll play a key role in supporting a diverse and growing commercial mortgage portfolio - all from our brand-new, modern office in the heart of downtown Vancouver. You’ll work closely with our Commercial Mortgages team to ensure every deal - from new loans to renewals - runs seamlessly. What You Will Do

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders - including solicitors, the Sun Life Law Department, and the Mortgage Servicing Centre - to coordinate commercial mortgage loan transactions.
  • Review and finalize security documents, insurance certificates, and third-party property reports.
  • Support the closing and funding of new loans, renewals, and assumptions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the execution of discharge documents for repaid loans.
  • Help manage a large, high-performing commercial mortgage portfolio alongside a small, collaborative team.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital loan files to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Act as the Business Continuity representative for the Canadian Mortgages team.
  • Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team environment.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in commercial mortgage administration, loan servicing, or real estate legal documentation.
  • A strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with solid Excel skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities with ease.
  • A team player who brings energy, enthusiasm, and diplomacy to everything you do.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration.

Compensation Base Salary: *$55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience, skills, and qualifications) + annual bonus.
