Work Environment/Conditions : Blend of Office and Field Work (in all weather conditions), work environment periodically exposes the employee to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a construction project

Physical Capabilities : Occasional Lifting, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling

Job Description The ideal candidate will have supervisory or managerial experience in civil construction projects consisting of excavation, grading, concrete and asphalt works. Fair consideration will also be given to experienced Project Coordinators who are ready for career advancement.

As a Project Manager, you will work within our team to achieve our business objectives with the following responsibilities:

• Attend pre-construction meetings with clients and engineers
• Prepare and monitor project budgets
• Prepare phasing and traffic control plans
• Issue purchase orders for rental equipment and materials
• Daily morning dispatch of Foremen and crews
• Monitor site activities to ensure specifications are met
• Perform diligent cost control
• Review crew time cards for job costing accuracy
• Identify and provide pricing for changes in the work
• Document quantities of work performed
• Prepare and submit progress payment certificates

Area of Specialization : Managing Civil Construction Projects Consisting of Excavation, Grading, Concrete and Asphalt

Requirements

• Valid G driver’s license must be willing to travel within the GTA and its immediate surrounding areas
• Knowledge of OPSS, OPSD, CCDC contract documents
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
