What you’ll do as a mobile developer:
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other teams with a flexible, team-first mindset to solve problems and achieve company goals
- Design, develop, test, debug, and demonstrate new capabilities throughout the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment
- Take initiative in proposing and implementing application changes to address business needs.
- Provide technical direction and perform regular code reviews to promote good software development practices and strengthen leadership skills
- Conduct critical analysis on code, performance, system risk, security, and software reliability, ensuring continual testing, proofing, and tuning for quality and usability
- Support, maintain, and document new capabilities developed by the team
- Communicate effectively to articulate your team’s work to peers, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Always prioritize the user’s needs and wants in development, testing, and optimization efforts
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of mobile app development using object-oriented design
- 3+ years of experience developing using React Native
- Experience with mobile database management (MySQL, SQLite, Room, Firebase, Realm etc.)
- Track record of designing and developing applications for Google Play or App Store
- Experience working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, engineers, DevOps, and testers to deliver quality mobile app experiences
