JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintenance Technician is responsible for general upkeep, maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Director of Technical Services and Maintenance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains professional internal guest service: smiles, creates eye contact, and uses employee names.
• As a ticketed Associate, the Maintenance Technician will deploy his skills as required.
• Replaces all burnt out light bulbs throughout Hotel and understand the need for different types of light bulbs.
• Repairs office furniture and equipment, guest room appliances, housekeeping and restaurant equipment as required.
• Participates in drywalling, painting and wallpapering.
• Completes work orders as assigned
• Ensures all duties on task list and 'rounds sheet' are completed
• Maintains Pools and Hot Tubs (backwash, vacuum, test chemicals, mix chemicals, fill chemical tanks; dump hot tubs and refill)
• Complete daily rounds which includes checking, monitoring and documenting domestic water, loop pumps, public area supply air, air compressors, sprinkler system, domestic cold water domestic hot water, meeting room supply and retail rounds.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
