About the role
The Contracts Analyst provides analytical and operational support related to contract development, compliance, and risk management. This role helps streamline workflows and maintain the accuracy and timeliness of critical contract-related activities.
Salary: The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepares, processes, reviews, and signs select purchase orders and change orders in accordance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and submit lien waivers, payment applications, specialized billing forms, and sworn statements by investigating and confirming accuracy of accounts receivables against internal and customer-prepared documentation
- Processes and tracks various state and local government authority business licenses required to perform work in the jurisdictions in which Badger operates.
- Processes, prepares, reviews, and tracks certificate of insurance and bond requests and renewals
- missing documentation, and resolve issues.
- Assists with the organization and clean-up of contract files, folders, and other administrative tasks.
- Supports process improvement initiatives related to contract lifecycle management and document control, including development and maintenance of standard templates.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred.
- Prior experience (1+ year preferred) in a corporate or field operations environment handling contracts or legal documentation.
- Strong computer proficiency with a variety of software applications, including CRM systems, MS-Office Suite and PDF software and excellent typing skills.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills and high degree of comfort working in a dynamic environment.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal departments and external customers to support the team.
- Collaborative mindset with flexibility to cross-train and support diverse contract functions.
- OFFICE: The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
