K-9 Blended Learning Independent Contractor Teacher
About the role
ASCEND Online is a distance learning school operated by the Catholic Independent Schools of the Kamloops Diocese. The school enrolls approximately 700 students from Kindergarten to Grade Twelve.
ASCEND Online is seeking part-time BC certified teachers for the 2026-2027 school year for their blended learning classrooms in the following areas of the province:
- Mission(Seminary of Christ the King)
- Surrey (JPII Academy)
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Active membership in a Catholic parish
- Commitment to excellence in Catholic education
- The ability to be flexible when faced with the ever-shifting needs of today's education system
- A genuine sense of joy in regard to teaching and learning
- A commitment to relationship-based learning
- The ability to adapt learning opportunities to meet the needs of students
